Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp said there was still room for improvement after his side cruised to a 3-0 home Premier League win against Nottingham Forest NFL
Diogo Jota and Darwin Nunez scored within the space of four minutes before the interval to put Liverpool in control and Mohamed Salah struck his eighth league goal of the season in the second half NFL
Klopp’s side made it five wins from as many league games at Anfield this season – their eighth in a row in all competitions – and sit three points behind leaders Tottenham NFL
Klopp said: “If you’re chasing a game it’s obviously a completely different task, but if you are in complete control you should stay in control NFL
“The last five minutes I think before half-time, all of a sudden we were a bit too deep and they just could chip the balls there and these are moments we have to improve, clearly NFL
“In creative situations you can always improve because the boys have a lot of potential and we have to use it fully NFL
”Once Liverpool broke the deadlock there was no way back for injury-hit Forest, but Klopp still remains wary of his side’s ability to protect a lead in front of their own fans NFL
“You might remember three or four years ago, all of a sudden we became slightly more dominant and were leading at home and always came under pressure,” he said NFL

Coming into the game, you know you have to play really well and commit to a plan in order to get some success in the game NFL
“We were forced into some player selection, formation and plans through the unfortunate situation with attacking players NFL
We had to go with a couple of players out of position NFL
”Cooper was without a recognised central striker after Chris Wood (hamstring) was a late withdrawal, with Taiwo Awoniyi returning to the bench after a groin injury NFL
“We only had one player who could play as a number nine in Anthony (Elanga),” Cooper added NFL
“It’s a position which is a little bit foreign to him anyway and two days ago we didn’t think he would be available because of illness NFL

Nic Berry has been named as the referee for the bronze final NFL between England rugby and Argentina rugby at the 2023 Rugby World Cup NFL
The Australian will be in charge of the third/fourth place play-off taking place at the Stade de France on Friday evening, with Andrew Brace of Ireland and Georgia’s Nika Amashukeli as his assistant referees on the touchlines NFL
Ben Whitehouse (Wales) will be the TMO for the appetiser to Saturday’s final NFL between the Springboks and All Blacks NFL
Berry made his tournament debut four years ago in Japan, and returned to the officiating panel for the tournament in France NFL
A former professional player, Berry impressed as a scrum half in Super Rugby, the French Top 14 and England’s Premiership NFL
His career was curtailed at the start of the 2011/12 season, however, on medical advice after suffering a series of concussions NFL
Soon after retirement, Berry picked up the whistle and was fast-tracked up through the Australian officiating system, making a debut in Super Rugby in April 2016 NFL
An international debut followed soon after, before Berry earned a debut World Cup selection to the team of referees heading out to Japan in 2019 alongside compatriot Angus Gardner NFL
The pair return as Australia’s on-pitch officiating representation at this year’s tournament NFL
Berry is perhaps best known, though, for his involvement in the 2021 British & Irish Lions tour of South Africa NFL
After taking charge of the first Test in Cape Town, a video made by Rassie Erasmus, the Springboks’ director of rugby, criticising the Australian’s decision-making throughout the game was leaked NFL
Erasmus was subsequently found guilty of threatening Berry, with the official testifying that his reputation had suffered “irreparable damage” NFL
Erasmus was banned from all rugby activities for two months NFL
